Apps! The Solution to All of Your Problems. …ok, maybe, but how do I use them?!? I am definitely guilty of suggesting apps to people without sending along some tips to make using them effective and easy. I have learned that simply suggesting an app to use is not enough. Teaching people how to integrate the technology […]

New Marijuana Research Report
Good morning,
I am pleased to notify you that the report from the Canadian Centre on Substance Abuse (CCSA) on Canadian Youth Perceptions on Cannabis is now available on our website.
Canadian Youth Perceptions on Cannabis
CCSA undertook this research project to better understand the conversations about cannabis that are taking place every day in schools, at home and in community centres. As we move towards the introduction of draft legislation on cannabis, these conversations are becoming increasingly relevant.
We need to understand where youth are getting their information and what they are thinking, and help them make informed decisions. We can also use this knowledge to inform effective prevention strategies.
The key findings in the report are categorized according to what youth believe to be true, why youth use cannabis, what are their misconceptions, what else influences youth and what they think about prevention.
I hope that you find the report to be helpful. I invite you to share it widely with interested parties.
Join the conversation on Twitter to help create a healthier society, free of the harms of substance use, by following @CCSACanada.
Best Regards,

Nouveau rapport de recherche sur la marijuana
Bonjour,
Katie Fleming
