The Career Development Practitioners’ Certification Board of Ontario (CDPCBO) is pleased to invite you to an evening of stimulating discussion and networking. Join us to hear Tom Zizys, Labour Market Analyst, discuss labour market trends that impact our clients, our economy and our work as career development practitioners. Part of our role is to teach clients how to understand the labour market and develop ways to be career resilient as the market changes. This talk and our discussion afterwards will reflect the importance of LMI in our practice.
The Labour Market: What Problem Are We Trying To Solve?
Our changing labour market presents great uncertainty to youth making choices about their education, to job seekers looking for work and to career counsellors seeking to provide advice and guidance. A number of different trends are at play which contribute to an increasingly turbulent environment. This presentation will aim to unpack these trends and offer some suggestions about policy responses that could help promote more good jobs.
