Campus Mental Health

The Centre for Innovation in Campus Mental Health (CICMH)  invites you to attend our free conference, Community in Action, on November 7th and 8th, 2016, at the Chelsea Hotel, 33 Gerrard St. W, in downtown Toronto (http://www.chelseatoronto.com/en/)

The mission of CICMH is to help Ontario’s campus-based service providers enhance capacity to support students with complex mental health needs.  Our conference will focus on providing information on the creation of campus-community partnerships and circles of care and provide the opportunities to spark and make those connections.

The two days will feature key note presentations, workshops, and informational booths from community mental health agencies as well as campus partners working on Mental Health Innovation Fund projects across Ontario.

You can expect to:

  • Learn about how students benefit when campuses build partnerships with community services
  • Gather ideas about creating trauma informed mental health services for students
  • Hear updates on the latest round of Mental Health Innovation Fund projects
  • Network through informal opportunities, and structured activities

Please Save the Date!  And stay tuned for more information on how to register in the upcoming weeks.

Rooms will be held at a special rate for individuals traveling to Toronto.

Please contact Sherry Sim at 1-866 655-8548 if you have any questions in the meantime.
