Webinar: Mindfulness and the Brain

Posted on

Dear friends,

I’m writing today to let you know about a special offer for those who recently participated in
The Neuroscience Training Summit. Mindfulness and the Brain, by Jack Kornfield, PhD, and Dan Siegel, MD, is a unique online course that weaves together both contemplative and neuroscientific approaches to inner transformation.

For the next five days, we will be offering the training at
50% off

Over the last 20 years, countless studies have demonstrated the power of mindfulness to enhance neural functioning, increase positive emotional states, and improve interpersonal relationships. Despite the widespread research, many still wonder how we can best integrate these discoveries into our personal and professional lives.

Filled with both theoretical and practical instruction and guided practices,
Mindfulness and the Brain offers an applied training designed to catalyze new levels of personal transformation and well-being, including how you can:
  • Learn mindfulness practices which have been shown to reduce suffering and to promote states of resilience and freedom
  • Learn how the practice of mindfulness creates a “resonance circuit,” which fosters your ability to attune to yourself as well as to attune interpersonally with others
  • Foster neural integration in yourself and in others—one of the key factors in healing and cultivating deeper states of awareness and compassion
Via weekly video downloads, you’ll receive more than seven hours of progressive insights and teachings from these renowned experts, spanning the areas of both cutting-edge neuroscience and ancient contemplative wisdom. Additionally, you’ll be taught seven guided practices, which you can apply right away in your personal and professional lives.

2 Scott Miller Workshops: How to Improve Therapeutic Skills and Outcomes

Posted on

Therapeutic alliance is widely recognized as the crucial component to therapeutic success however, you need to know these two important details:
  1. The client’s view of the alliance is consistently found to be a better predictor of counselling outcome.
  2. The counsellor’s view of the alliances frequently does NOT correlate with the views of the client

Scott Miller’s upcoming workshops:
FIT will help you develop organizational structures and procedures to collect feedback from your clients on an ongoing basis and to enable your organization to be responsive while improving. REACH will help you integrate feedback-informed strategies in the delivery of therapy so that you get the information you need to achieve better outcomes.
