Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (SP) is a body-based treatment model developed by Pat Ogden.  This presentation: provides an overview of the basic principles of SP, identifies differences between SP and traditional talk therapies, describes the role of mindfulness in SP, and introduces the Window of Tolerance and its role in trauma treatment.

About the Presenter

Kimberley Shilson has been providing assessment and treatment services for 25 years. She is registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario and certified by the CCPA. Kim’s practice focuses on trauma work with adolescents and adults, and she provides psychological consultation to children’s agencies and individual practitioners.
